Great learning opportunity for someone who wants to learn supply chain in a Lean Manufacturing and high level manufacturing facility.

 

Supply Chain Lead will be responsible for planning and management of materials to support a Lean Manufacturing environment. This will require purchasing, inventory management, ERP System Management, vendor communications, cycle counting, logistics and physical management of inventories.

 

Principal Duties and Accountabilities (*Essential Functions)

• Aggressive learner and eager to build knowledge
• Team player who works well others
• Vendor Scorecards to track Performance
• Frequent communication with vendors
• Create Orders
• Receive Orders
• Perform Inventory Transactions
• Develop strategy to improve performance
• Maintaining a perfectly clean and organized warehouse
• Follow all departmental and plant safety rules and regulations.

 

Requirements:

• Ability to lift 25-40 lbs
• Use of Forklift to Move Products
• Driving of trucks to move inventory between suppliers & customers (DOT License Req'd)
