If so, as the Human Resources Generalist for Novo Precision, you will be a part of a nimble, fast-growing engineering and manufacturing company with an expanding team and reach. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Counsel management on company human resource policies, procedures, labor issues and changes in state and federal laws insuring company compliance
  • Proactively make recommendations to improve HR operation and value added to business operations
  • Manage delivery and execution of HR related programs
  • Maintain communication with departments on all human resources related issues
  • Advise management on fair and consistent handling of situations requiring disciplinary action
  • Handle various employee relation issues, investigating employee complaints, resolving employee conflicts and advising appropriate action to management. Resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Strategic staffing and recruiting. Set up interviews to assist managers in selecting the best candidates to fill vacancies.
  • Conducts hiring and onboarding, background checks and collection of all required new hire documentation
  • Manage all benefit programs. Assist employees with benefit questions, concerns and issues
  • Understanding on how to communicate difficult /sensitive information tactfully
  • Maintain compliant personnel files and HR records
  • Participate in various HR projects as needed

 

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of Human Resources experience with increasing responsibility
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration, State and Federal laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics and cultural awareness
  • Resourceful, problem solving skills with thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and pleasant demeanor focused on customer service
  • High level of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work, consistently meeting deadlines
  • Payroll/HRIS administration required
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
