Novo Precision has produced a first of its kind Cable Cutting Machine http://www.novoprecision.com/products... . No longer do you have to hand measure and cut cable manually. Just plug in batching quantities and lengths and let the machine run out and cut your parts. The machine is a Servo Controlled Programmable Cable Cut to Length System cutting cable off of spools. Model rated for cable diameters from .0625"-.375". The Cable Cutting System is controlled by touch screen PLC in which the operator can program cable length, batch quantity, machine speed etc. Ability to create custom "recipe" of lengths and quantities make this the ideal machine for cable railing, marine equipment or any other industry that uses cable lengths in assembly. Machine uses a P 2100 Motorized 1 HP Rim Drive Payoff with Double Accumulation Loop & Pneumatic Dancer Arm is used to take cable off spool. This payoff is rated for up to 2100 lbs capacity. Wire is then run through a wire centering guide to direct wire inside cabinet to required wire line. Once inside enclosure cable is then run through the 4 Roll Feed Box with Pneumatic Feed Roll Grip pressure. The desired feed length is entered into the touch screen HMI. Cable cut length is measured by the servo motor encoder control to +/- .0625" length tolerance. Model 4H Cutter Head uses a quill on quill cutting method which contains the OD of the cable during the shear cut to minimize splay.
